When Salma’s period came, she stayed home without reliable products. Unsure how to manage each day, she worried about keeping up in class.

At Imara Comprehensive School, we spoke with teacher Mary, who shared what she saw each month:
“Many girls missed three to five days of school every month, which led to a lot of lost learning time. While boys remained in class, girls fell behind, returning to lessons that had already moved on.”
